We are continually creating new ways for consumers to engage with our products through the use of latest cutting edge technologies. We are currently seeking an experienced Product Manager to help us take our products to the next level.
The individual who joins our team will be a strategic thinker who is well grounded in product management fundamentals and has a solid understanding of the healthcare market. Our Product Managers “own” their products across the continuum of their lifecycle and are expected to drive product success across the organization.
RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Establish the vision and product roadmap by defining ROI-based, online solutions for our core markets.
- Analyze and understand the competition for each product and create product development paths that will continually re-define the market standard.
- Prioritize new product development through market analysis and cost/revenue projections.
- Oversee the translation of market and competitive analysis into market requirement documents and functional specifications.
- Manage the product development process using a strong project management methodology (resource allocations, budgets, ongoing product development meetings)
- Establish product milestones and proactively manage progress to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Work with sales and marketing to define product price and positioning.
- Oversee product launch, training, rollout, ongoing promotion, and support.
- Travel approximately 2-3 days a month.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of hospitals, healthcare systems, managed care, and health information technology systems. Experience building products for patients and consumers a plus.
- Proven ability to analyze markets, identify and prioritize market opportunities, project revenues, write business plans, and manage budgets.
- Strong writing skills, with experience writing proposals and business plans.
- Understanding of Internet technologies and usability.
- Must be self-motivated, adaptable, hands-on, and able to juggle multiple priorities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- BA/BS Degree, preferably in business. MBA a plus.
- 5+ years of product management experience in healthcare, or at a consultancy or outsourcer serving the healthcare industry.
