About the Health2.0 Conference

Founded in 2006, the Health2.0 conferences focus on user-generated aspects of Web2.0 within health care including search, communities, and tools for individual and group consumer use. The first conference was health on September 20, 2007 in San Francisco to a sell-out crowd of 500 healthcare leaders. Future conferences are scheduled for March 2008 (San Diego) and Fall 2008 (San Francisco). In addition to conference production, the team also has Internet media properties such as  ‘The Health Care Blog’ (THCB) and is currently developing a Health 2.0 blog. THCB was established in 2003 and is described by the Wall Street Journal as, “among the most widely read insider publications in the field”. And the co-founders each run their own very successful consulting practices – Matthew Holt Consulting and Etude Scientific.
